Dancing Magnetic-Liquid Display — demonstration
Supplier-approved footage will be published here.
The Display is the quiet companion to Whale Fall: a low base, a shallow glass dish, and a pool of magnetic liquid that behaves like a living surface.
It reacts to sound in the room — a conversation pulls slow rings across the surface, a bass line lifts it into peaks. Left alone, it settles into a slow breathing rhythm.
Each base is machined and finished by hand, then assembled and numbered in the studio.
Listens to the room
Sound in the space moves the liquid — no app, no pairing, no preset patterns.
Sculpture at rest
When the room goes quiet the surface settles into a slow, breathing rhythm.
